GUITARS

These are the guitars I have so far.

From my very first one since I started fingerstyle playing.

I personally love the Taylor Academy the second one is GS mini and perhaps the 3rd is Lag guitar then Yairi.

The rest can be in any order.

For me the Academy has a fuller sound and more balanced, the GS mini tend to be in the bassy side though but really great for it's size. The Lag was great too however it is in a slimmer body so it doesn't have a big sound.

The Yairi is pretty surprising for me, I felt it has a unique sound among all my guitars.

Phoebus has a big sound then both customized guitar are good too. 3GL's more bassy to me while the Joel's is more trebly, I guess because of the wood they used.

But overall I'm all satisfied with them.

GEARS

These are gears that I have been using so far. Basically the main gear here is the Zoom H4N Pro.

Even if without the microphones the zoom mic can still record a great quality audio.

Headset is really important too! That will make you hear more the detail of your recording.

You may not be able to hear those outside noise or the squeaking of your guitar if you're not using a headset.

Then you might think your recording was fine but if you start listening to it with an earphone

you will realize it was noisier than you thought.

So my advice is get a good quality recorder with built in mic and a quality headset too.

And turn off all your fans or even PC that's making some noise

and close all your windows so that you can have a cleaner audio.

As for video I am using Panasonic Lumix G7 and Olympus EM10 mark III.

Both can shoot 4K but the lumix has a pretty good app.

4K's advantage is you can resize your video without losing a quality if you gonna upload only in 1080p.

So technically one shot can make it look like a 2-3 angle shot, depends how much you wanna crop the video.

I'm not uploading in 4K yet, but keep that in mind that 4K can be versatile when it comes to editing.

Did I say the Lumix app is freaking amazing?

You'll find yourself in less trouble if you can remotely control your camera.

your focusing will be a pain in the ass if you can't really see behind your cam or can't remotely control it.

You can of course pre-focus it but you might think it's actually in the right focus but it may end up not.

So remotely controlling saves you from those troubles of out of focus shot!
